The Former Player to Front Office Trend Continues

I'm sure everyone heard this news already, but Derian Hatcher has accepted a position with the Philadelphia Flyers as a player development coach, taking over for Former Flyer Eric Desjardins after his single year in that role. This seems to be a feeling out process for Hatcher in regards to coaching, seeing if at 37 he still has a passion for the game that made his knees explode and will fail him for the rest of his life. You have to say good luck to Derian, for as much as I hated him, he had some great years, pre-lockout of course.

Sorry Derian, you're still a pylon.
