Not These Two Again

In a "The world hates Buffalo" kind of thing, the Sabre's playoff pipe dream once again comes down to those same 2 guys as always: Chris Drury and Danny Briere.

In this picture, Briere is tearing his groin while Drury still doesn't score.

If the Sabres hopes are to remain, the Flyers have to beat the Rangers tonight (of course the Sabres have to beat Carolina in the 2nd night of back to back games...whatever), or else Buffalo will fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinally be eliminated.

Personally I'm so utterly sick of the Buffalo cheapskate label, we've shed that with the Roy, Vanek, Pominville, and Miller contracts. So back off, and quit bringing these two (and Jay McKee, and Mike Grier, and Brian Campbell) up! Though outside of Soupy (and that's even debatable) how many of their new teams are happy with the Buffalo Sloppy 2nds? Not many.

This was a rambling wreck of a post. I apologize.

Philly dislikes Briere and his contract until the playoffs... then he's money.
