Vanek's Back...Thank God.

Thank God. After some terrible performances of late, the Sabres will get a deadline treat with an earlier-than-expected return from the IR. And just in time, looking back at some of the slumps plaguing the Sabres top 2 lines...
  • Jason Pominville? 1 goal in 25 games.
  • Jochen Hecht? 1 goal in 13 games.
  • Tim Connolly? 10 game drought.
  • Drew Stafford? 2 in last 9. Both in the same game.
  • Derek Roy? 3 in 15.
  • Ales Kotalik? 5 in 29.
Good God. Goose is our most prolific scorer right now. This really does lend itself to the question...do we need to activate Max? Just sayin.
