Fans of the Week: The Valentine's Day Edition

I was looking for some Atlanta Thrashers fans, turns out, there aren't any. Well there was a guy with a Thrashers Dan Snyder tattoo, but I'm not even that big of a dick to post that.

But we can only assume that these 4 men are the biggest Thrashers fans on this planet, or at least the biggest of fans of Don Waddell.



I bet you're thinking, "But, Vance, why would 4 rival GM's be such great fans of Don?!?" Oh wait, you're not thinking that? Because it's so utterly obvious? Yeah, I forgot.

Boston's Peter Chiarelli love's Don Waddell because he was too stupid to give Marc Savard money, or trade him at the deadline, allowing him to sign with the Bruins.

Philadelphia's Paul Holmgren loves Donny Waddell because he was so stupid that he traded a promising, highly rated D prospect, Braydon Coburn, for retread Alexei Zhitnik.

Former Ottawa GM John Muckler loves Dunny Waddell because he was able to unload unaffordable free agent to be Marian Hossa for a younger and cheaper Dany Heatley.

Current (but possibly soon to be ex) GM of the Penguins Ray Shero loves Wads for giving him the chance at a Cup with that very same Maid Marian Hossa, while just giving up a lazy, traffic-phobic, Angelo Esposito and picks.

See, nearly everyone loves the Thrashers. Now Darcy, go fleece Donny for Kovalchuk.
