Staal Staying In Pittsburgh
Smart move by Shero or a bad one...you be the judge. Getting him locked up is probably smart so that the Pens can't just let him walk in the offseason...that being said, is Jordan a retard or what? Or maybe he realizes his stock has fallen so hard since his rookie season that he probably wasn't going to get MUCH more than whatever the Pens have offered. I swear to God if its more than 3.2 a year I'm gonna F'n flip shit. Anyways, not much else to report on the matter until the numbers surface. Maybe Staal was cute like Crosby and took 1.11...I mean...1.11 is pretty generous I think.
UPDATE: Giving more credit to...well not us because why would we be the first one's the Pens tell about signing Staal...the Post Gazette has got the numbers.
Staal will earn $3.5 his first two seasons of the new contract...and then...GASP, CHOKE, PUKE, WTF???....$4.5 the remaining 2 years of his contract.

Actually, Crosby has his winger...Staal is starting at LW tonight on his line! Personally, I'm pumped about Staal getting a new 4 year contract, now for the next four years I can get drunk during every Pens game...take a drink every time Jordan Staal blows a scoring chance!
