Sabres Weekend in Review
Red Wings: Tough Loss
Miller was definitely fatigued towards the end of that Red Wings loss, but he played admirably. Kinda disappointed we didn't move into 6th, but honestly, I didn't expect to beat Detroit at the Joe.
Some rumors swirling that the Sabres were putting together a package for Shane Doan, an interesting thought, but seriously Eklund, why would Phoenix throw away their Captain in the midst of a playoff run? Doesn't make sense. Now if we could pry away Danny Carcillo, I'd be all about that.
Denson may post something on the continued spiraling Penguins, but he's so enamored with the Steelers currently, don't count on it.

I doubt Phoenix would get rid of Doaner. He's the last original Coyote (was even with them with the Jets)and like you said, they find themselves in a PLAYOFF (playoffs?!?) race. He's a hell of a player though and any team would be lucky to have him.
