Sabres V Senators
Blogger:

Anyway tonight the Sabres can extend their streak to 3 games when the listless, flaccid Senators limp in HSBC. They're 3-6-1 over their last 10, blowing leads in the last couple.
It's going to be Ryan Miller and Alex Auld tonight. Auld is 0-4-2, with a 4.60 GAA in his last 6, AHAHAHAHA, those are Islander-esque numbers. On a good note, Ottawa will be without Volchenkov, who blocks more shots than an overbearing girlfriend on St. Patrick's Day. So if I'm the Sabres forwards, I'm just throwin all kinds of shots, from any and all angles, at the net.
For Buffalo, Toni Lydman, who's been arguably the most consistent defensive presence for the Slugs, er, Sabres, is out with illness. So that means our the promising young Butler gets another game with the big club. Captain Rivet is also back in the lineup...finally.
Looks like Tim Connolly will be ready this weekend, coming off the strained clitoris, while Pat Kaleta is still wearing a neck brace, but he's skating. Yeah, skating...with a neck brace.

Afinogenov is out, not like we noticed him in the lineup anyway.
Don't forget, the last time the Sabres and Sens met, Adam Mair chased Chris Neil back into the locker room. I'd love to see that brew over.
