Pekka (that's a name?) gets the start for what Barry Trotz calls an unimportant game, he last played on Friday, earning a 4-3 win over Atlanta in OT. Miller took Saturday off when Lalime got the start, though he seems as though he's gotten back into the swing of things. Two rested goalies, no excuses.

Over the past 5 games, Nashville has given up 7 5 - 3 powerplays, hopefully we can get a piece of that action...The past two meetings the Preds have given up 15 goals, losing 8-4 and 7-2, ouch...Preds are 4-1 in their past 5 road tilts...Captain Jason Arnott has 4 goals in his past 4 games...Our old friend J.P Dumont leads the Preds with 22 points...Barry Trotz can best be described as an old fart...Tootoo had this, and blew it, that'd have to be the best lookin girl an eskimo ever scored...

Kotalik is inserted back into the lineup, while Kaleta will miss a number of games with an apparent neck injury...Notice Kaleta has been taking more penalties than he's been creating? That's not what he's here for...Peters will be in the lineup according to Lindy, since Nashville has killed the 2nd most penalties in the league this year...Notice Stafford's 2nd goal was given to Vanek, giving him 18...Not sure what Dmen will be sitting tonight...Roy is starting to heat up, pacing above a point per game over the last 8...Connolly is MIA...Thank God for Thomas Vanek...Craig Rivet is sitting at -7, ouch. Toni Lydman is a +3, leading the team...This will be Mancari's 6th game, he can only play 10 before he must pass through waivers to go back to the AHL...4 players (Vanek, Pommer, Roy, McArthur) account for nearly 60% of our total output, only Philly is worse in that regards, Secondary scoring where are you?...Only team worse than Buffalo over their last 10 is Tampa, yes even the Islanders are better...
